Our doctors are a group with higher than average knowledge and experience in menopausal treatments, however they are General Practitioners: not endocrinologists, gynaecologists, haematologists or psychiatrists. They may from time to time ask for (de-identified) advice from other WellFemme colleagues or refer patients to other specialists or their GP to facilitate the best possible patient care.
There is often a hormonal component of symptoms around the menopausal transition, but usually there are many other contributing factors. If symptoms do not respond to hormonal treatments, then you will need to visit your regular local doctor who can investigate other potential causes or contributors.
