Pay As You Go (PAYG)
Every new WellFemme patient starts with our “Pay As You Go” model (PAYG). This means that you just book and pay for appointments as needed, and take your prescriptions to your own pharmacy. PAYG patients who want ongoing care from their WellFemme doctor should book 6-monthly Reviews. Patients not seen for 12 months will need to book a longer appointment to re-assess.
Depending on the level of support you need or prefer during treatment however, this can get a bit pricey. You may even delay or forgo having your questions or issues dealt with to avoid the cost of booking an appointment. That’s why we’ve created our Membership model: so you can access the level of care you need, when you need it, more affordably.

How Do I Decide?
No-one can predict how many times a year you might need to see your doctor, but having timely support and advice might save you from having to see them so often, potentially saving you hundreds of dollars!
As you’ll see from this table, if you only plan on seeing your WellFemme doctor once a year then perhaps PAYG is for you. However if you like responsive support when you need it, regular check-ins with your clinical team and loads of added features, then a Membership is for you.
NOTE: Neither option includes the cost of medication or additional doctors’ appointments as required. Patients on a testosterone treatment plan incur an additional $5 per month for membership to cover additional test monitoring services.

What Happens Next?
Recent New Patients: Once your doctor thinks you’re ready to be offered a membership you will receive an emailed offer. Simply tick the box corresponding to your preferred clinical model and return it to the WellFemme team. We will be in touch with you soon after to make all the arrangements. Existing WellFemme Patients: You will be offered membership at your next Review, however if you’ve had a Review quite recently and are keen to get started, please contact members@wellfemme.com.au to request early access. If you do nothing or decline membership, no problem… you can just continue to have PAYG appointments as needed.
