Skin and Hair Changes at Menopause

Skin and Hair Changes at Menopause

Wondering why your hair sheds or your skin feels dry and papery? Here’s what to know.

We held a monster webinar to celebrate Women’s Health Week 2022. Canberra Dermatologist Dr Rachael Anforth gave generously of her time and expertise to answer all our burning questions about menopausal skin and hair issues (and the questions came thick and fast!). If you weren’t able to make it to the event live, here’s your chance to get up to speed.

During this presentation you will learn:

  • The natural progression of skin and hair changes as we age
  • The effects of estrogen on the skin and hair
  • How to work out if something’s really wrong
  • How to keep skin and hair in the best possible condition for longer

The presentation was around 45 minutes, followed by a 30-minute live Q&A.
